About The Village Clubhouse

Hi, I’m Janina, the person behind The Village Clubhouse, a cozy, flexible gathering space in Greenville, SC created for the kinds of moments that don’t always need a traditional event venue.

What started as an idea for a more comfortable place to work and connect has grown into a home for private celebrations, workshops, meetings, creative events, local collaborations, coworking and community gatherings.

With three furnished rooms and a relaxed, living-room feel, the Clubhouse is intentionally simple and flexible. People have used the space for baby and bridal showers, birthdays, workshops, photo shoots, podcast recordings, concerts, gallery events, meetings and plenty of ideas we never would have thought of when we first opened.

Why I Created It

I wanted to create the kind of place I felt was missing in Greenville — somewhere between gathering at someone’s house and renting a traditional event venue.

A space that feels welcoming without being formal. Somewhere you can bring your own food, rearrange the room, gather around a table, meet new people, create something, celebrate something, or simply have a place to bring an idea to life.

That became The Village Clubhouse.

More Than One Thing

The Clubhouse was never meant to fit neatly into one category. Some days it’s a private celebration. Other days it’s a workshop, meeting, podcast set, coworking space or concert venue.

That flexibility is part of what makes it special.
