Calligraphy Workshop
Beginner Calligraphy Workshop
Have you ever wished your handwriting looked a little more beautiful? Or wanted a creative hobby that's relaxing, social, and actually enjoyable to learn?
Join local calligrapher Katie of Eden & Ev Calligraphy for a beginner-friendly calligraphy workshop designed for complete beginners and curious creatives alike.
No artistic experience is needed. Seriously. Whether you've never picked up a calligraphy pen or you've always wanted to try lettering but didn't know where to start, this workshop is for you.
Katie has been teaching calligraphy for over seven years and has helped hundreds of students discover that calligraphy isn't about perfection—it's about creativity, practice, and having fun. Her goal is simple: everyone deserves a seat at the table.
During the workshop, you'll learn the fundamentals of modern calligraphy, practice basic strokes and letterforms, and leave with the confidence to continue lettering on your own.
Your ticket includes:
• A guided beginner calligraphy workshop
• Katie's signature calligraphy workbook (which she personally wrote and teaches from)
• All supplies and materials needed for class
• Plenty of hands-on instruction and support
Beyond learning a new skill, this is a great opportunity to meet new people, enjoy a creative evening, and spend a few hours doing something just for yourself.
Come as you are. No pressure. No perfection required. Just bring yourself and we'll provide the rest.

Art Journaling
Art Journaling
An alternative art adventure that will create a diary of your life. You’ll learn how to use different products in different ways. We will be using stamps, stencils, masks, sprays, pens, inks and more as we create collages, and pages that “work”.
Marg, the facilitator of the class loves to sit and look through her books. She finds them full of memories that she created. They inspire her and it does her soul good to finish a book and put it in the shelf with others.
You will feel a sense of accomplishment that will make you smile and want to get started on another.
The class will be monthly but you can continue to create more as you like.
Relax, leave your stress at the door, come in and make friends! For Marg, art journaling was always the best 2-3 hours of her month.

The Teacher
Marg Watts is an artistic “dogooder” that has been living in Greenville for 6 years. She sold her creations in Abacus, a Portland, Maine gallery and Cahoots in Lisbon Falls.
She started teaching art journaling having learned about it at the Everything Art Store in Wellington, Florida. She took monthly classes for many years before she started teaching journaling and other classes, including perfumery.
She had a head injury and found journaling to be very helpful in regaining her confidence and artistic abilities. She found it to be a huge stress reliever and the more she did, the more she improved and began to feel that she was finding her place in the world again.
She started teaching art journaling because she realixed how valuable a tool can be, how interesting it is and how much she enjoyed going home with a book/ page that she continued to work on. The beauty of art journaling is that you can “fix” a page you’re not happy with…and she has fixed many!
She will also tell you she wishes she hadn’t, because if you date your pages, you get to see the road of progress in your work.

Soul Study with Maykayla
Soul Study is a relaxed, heart-centered spin-off of our Wild Women’s Circle—created for connection that flows a little more freely. Rooted in the same intention of sisterhood and presence, we begin with meditation and guided journaling to gently turn inward, then open the space for organic sharing and conversation.
Spread across cozy corners and rooms, women gather in smaller circles, where stories are exchanged, laughter rises, and connection unfolds naturally. There’s no pressure—just an invitation to share, listen, and be, in whatever way feels most true to you.
This is a space where the sacred meets the simple—where depth and ease intertwine, and sisterhood expands in its own beautiful, unstructured rhythm.

Women's Circle with Maykayla
Step into the Wild Women’s Circle, a sacred gathering where hearts soften, spirits rise, and sisterhood blooms. This is a space woven with intention, where laughter and tears are equally welcome, and every woman is seen, heard, and held. Together we’ll wander inward through gentle meditation, pour our truths onto pages in guided journaling, and share stories that ripple with courage and connection.
Come as you are - wild, tender, curious, whole. Stay for the magic that unfolds when women gather in authenticity, and linger afterward in the warmth of kindred souls, where conversation flows and connections deepen like roots intertwining beneath the surface.
